Why We Chose It

KAVU brings something a little wild into the house.

It's one of our favorite pieces because of the way it changes the energy of a room. There's something almost animal-like about its form and texture—as if it belongs to another landscape, somewhere further away and a little less expected.

We went through several rounds of refinement to get the proportions exactly right: generous enough to embrace you, yet considered enough not to overwhelm the room around it.

It doesn't need much around it. It already brings its own world.
